For me SEO is not hard to learn, all you need is patience and time effort. SEO/Search Engine Optimization is a way to make your web site or blog to be seen on the top of the Search Engines like Google, Bing, Yahoo, Alexa, etc.
What is Search Engine and how it works?
Search Engine is an application that searches a list of file for a certain keyword and return a list of file where the keywords were found. Example if I search for Cars, search engine generates a list of file for Cars that allow you to choose what is best for you.
For newbie, SEO is tough if you do not know the steps and its ways on how to optimize a website. Well the first thing should do, is to know the types of SEO. There are two types of SEO, one is the on page and the other is off page.
On Page SEO:
It is a type of SEO that focusing to the content or article optimization, including the text title, image, link and etc. Its simple, The On page SEO is the article it self.
Off Page SEO:
This is the type of SEO focusing on the website link or url. To do this you may try to index you url to any of this search engine, ex. Bing, Yahoo and Google. You may try submitting
your url to any of this Social Bookmarking Sites like Digg, Delicious, StumbleUpon and Propeller. And try doing blog commenting and discussing from forums site. Or exchange link to any blog or website that you knew like (from your blogger friend or to your other site).
There are many things to learn about SEO, I my self still learning it.
